English

The English curriculum consists of three main strands: speaking and listening; reading; and writing. Learning

Learning is a journey. Throughout life, we gain knowledge, understanding and skills. Children are naturally curious and inquisitive, and ask questions about the world around them. Successful learners are engaged and motivated. They understand that making mistakes is a key part of the learning process and develop resilience and perseverance to over difficulties that arise. Part of a parent’s role is to enrich the learning experiences of their child and create rounded, independent and confident individuals.
